DSSC Halloween Fun Meet Results & Thank you's

What a great turnout for this morning's Halloween Fun Meet!  Swimmers raced the 25 free kick, the 100 and 200 IM, 50 free, 50 fly and 25 back.  It was great to see so many of our Learn to Compete, Novice and Regional Development swimmers out.  Congratulations to all our first time swimmers!

The club had 90 swimmers on the pool deck dressed in their Halloween finest and even the coaching staff dressed up.   Coaching staff members dressed as a rock, a paper, a scissors, a farmer, and a cow (or a dalmatian)..... and we all know that in the game of rock, paper, scissors, farmer, cow... the cow always loses.

Congratulations to Max Zha 1:06.63, a new club record in the Boys 13-14 Short Course 100 IM.

The IMPROV (+/-) is the difference between their time swam this morning vs. the fastest time (official or unofficial) that is on record with DELTA.  This may be a time from last season, or even from 2019.  It was great to see so many swimmers step up and get close to their personal bests.

Thank you so much to the parents who helped out at this morning's event.  We can not do these events with out you all.  We appreciate your time spent timing, organizing, setting up and taking down, as well as driving back and forth from the pool.

Thank you to the organizers of food (Gurinder Sangha), officials (Kam Rai), and the electronic timing systems (WojCiech Apanowicz & Owen Soroke).  These leadership positions in our swim club are integral to making events like this work well.
