Delta Distance LMR Thank you!

Thank you for all your help this past Sunday. We successfully hosted our Delta Distance LMR meet for 200 swimmers! Your assistance was invaluable, and we appreciate the efforts of all visiting officials and volunteers.

We had a fantastic turnout from six different clubs, giving swimmers the opportunity to race the 400 free, 800 free, or 1500 free. This meet is specially designed for swimmers who haven’t had the chance to post times in these events, allowing them to compete without being ranked out of higher-level meets. It fulfills a unique role within the LMR racing framework, and we’re proud that Delta can provide this opportunity.

Special thanks to our referee Gurinder Sangha, and our Officials Director Kam Rai for their leadership this weekend. A huge shoutout to Ron Bullock and Jessica Jensen, our alumni officials, who came out to support us.

The setup and takedown crews were phenomenal, achieving one of the fastest takedowns I’ve ever seen after a swim meet. Thank you!
