Swimmers make a big splash at mini meet

Our second mini meet of the season was a fantastic showcase of hard work, growth, and team spirit, with swimmers racing in three events over the course of the meet. From the first race to the final touch, athletes brought incredible energy, focus, and determination to the pool, supporting one another and pushing themselves in every swim.

The results spoke for themselves, with an outstanding 100% personal-best success rate achieved by Adhiraa Srikrishnan, Aiden Lim, Connor Hayden, Daniel Bae, Dheeran Desu, Erin Yiu, Mya Nijjar, Mehreen Jassar, Andreus Yiu, Rayah Nijjar, and Vadim Purtov. Some highlights included Connor H with a PB of 10.52 in his 25m backstroke, Erin Y with her 19.66 PB in the 50m breaststroke, Andreus Y with a 17.69 PB in his 50m breaststroke, Rayah N with a 12.67 PB in her 25m freestyle, Sav D with a 11.03 PB in the 25m backstroke and Vadim P with an exciting 38.52 PB in his 50m breaststroke. Each swimmer demonstrated clear progress, confidence, and resilience, turning training into strong performances on race day.

This mini meet was a true celebration of effort and improvement, and a great stepping stone as we continue building momentum for the rest of the season. Congratulations to all swimmers on an excellent meet and a job very well done!

A morning of huge best times!

We were back at Watermania on December 7th for the second Pass meet of the season, and it was an exciting day of racing and progress for our swimmers. Athletes competed across two levels, with Level 1 swimmers racing the 100 m freestyle, 50 m backstroke, 100 m IM, and 50 m freestyle, while Level 2 swimmers took on the challenging 200 m freestyle.

Swimmers brought strong energy, focus, and determination to every race, putting their training into action and showing continued improvement throughout the meet. Their hard work paid off in a big way, with an outstanding 100% personal-best performance achieved by Aryan Biswal, Aadya Garg, Edward Marshall, Elina Ma, Ellia McHardy, Samantha Lee, Serena Li, Yumily Lu, and Laura Yang. Some highlights included Aryan with a 30.72 second PB in his 200m freestyle, Ellia M with a 2:10 in her 100m IM, Emily G with an 18.40 second PB in her 50m breaststroke, Laura Y with an impressive 14.77 PB in her 100m freestyle, Serena dropping a whopping 27.32 in her 50m breaststroke and Yumily L 13.03 in the 50m freestyle!

This meet was a great opportunity for athletes to gain race experience, build confidence, and celebrate their progress as the season continues. Congratulations to all swimmers on a fantastic meet at Watermania!
