The coaches are excited to announce.....
Swimmer of the month for November
Learn to compete: Tej Dadwal
This month the learn to compete groups have been focusing on swimming fast! We have been working on faster pace times and racing during practice. Tej has shown great focus in his practices with new pace times and longer sets!
Learn to compete Gold: Will Eiben
In LTC Gold, SOM went to Will for his passion for sport. Coaching Will, you can tell he loves sport and wants nothing but to improve and try his best despite obstacles in his way. He asks important questions that will help him learn and acts as a leader when it is time to listen and learn. Congratulations Will!
Novice: Kathleen Zhou
Kathleen has been an absolute standout in the month of November. She is always ready to go on time for practice and always works. She definitely earned Swimmer of the month for Novice.
Regional: Mikela Villacorta
Mikela achieved her LMR time of 4:00.00 in the 200m IM during November. Along with this her hard work in practice especially going fast when required, is the reason she is awarded swimmer of the month for Regional.
Junior Blue & White: Ganeev Purba
Ganeev has been crushing training sets and has swam over 10 personal best times in practice over the last two weeks.
Her attention to detail during workouts and the honesty of her efforts have been absolutely amazing to watch. She has single handedly brought the training level of everyone around her up a level.
Congratulations Ganeev, you've done some great work this month.
Senior White: Boris Kamaldin
In Senior White, SOM went to Boris for his can do attitude that he brings to practice everyday. He shows up ready to try his best and ready to do it with a fantastic attitude, even on the hard days, that is a pleasure to coach. Congratulations Boris!
Senior Blue & Gold: Mia Bruneau
The SOM for the Senior group is Mia Bruneau. Her never quit attitude despite the workload has been very impressive the past few months. If she keeps this up, she will reach her goals in no time. Well done Mia.
