October Fun Meet Results and Thank You's

The Delta Sungod Swim Club had 105 swimmers out to the first Fun Meet of the year.  What a great event to watch, and participate in.  The club's swimmers had an amazing time showcasing their newest skills and racing toughness in three events.  Congratulations to all the first time meet attendees!  

The club had a bunch of swimmers crack the 4:00.00 200 IM barrier.  This time standard lets them get out and race across the lower mainland.  New LMR standard achievers were: Gina Wenxuan Tang, Oliver Lee, Taishon Surgive, Jimmy Liu, and Riya Kang.
There was one club record broken in the girls' 11-12 year old 100 IM, Emma Zhang broke her own club record with a time of 1:15.75.  Congratulations Emma.  The team's club records can be found here, along with our all time top 10 swims.

A special thank you to all the parents, siblings and friends who came out this morning to help time, officiate and volunteer for snacks.  We cannot do these events without you and we are so happy that you are part of our team!

A reminder about the club's Welcome back party tomorrow evening at Kennedy Seniors Centre.   We start at 5:00pm!
