Top 25 In Canada Results

Congratulations to all our swimmers who achieved a top 25 placing in the nation. Rankings are not the be all and end all of swimming, but for many athletes it is a huge motivator to see their names rank higher on a list. The thought and effort that goes into changing aspects of training and in racing just to see a name get higher in a list is tremendous. A top 25 ranking in Canada is quite an achievement as there are thousands of swimmers within the nation who are out racing and training.

Rankings were taken based off SwimRankings.net for results in the 2023-24 season up until Friday, April 5, 2024. If you are interested in finding out what it takes to make the top 25 or top 50 in the province or country go to:
www.swimrankings.net. Click on RANKINGS --> SEARCH --> CLUB NAME = British Columbia (or CANADA). That will give you the list of Top 50 athletes in BC/Canada per event. Select your Gender, your Age Group and then scroll down the list to see what the time is of the 25th or 50th ranked athlete. That is your new goal time! Remember that the times will get faster as the year progresses and more swims are added to the database.

Swimmers achieving a top 25 ranking will receive a new club swim cap with a top 25 indicator. Remember that as a swimmer you can only control what you do, how you train and how you race. You cannot control what the rest of the swimmers do around you nor can you control their results. At the end of the day all you can do is bring your best!
