This is a tentative meet as we wait for more information on the exact dates. This is a team meet that we have attended in the past years and is great opportunity to have some fun out of town and swim fast while seeing another area of the province,
This meet is open to all swimmers even those not LMR qualified.
TEAM HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS:
Swimmers/families will be responsible for their own travel.

Note, it is not mandatory to stay at the team hotel. there are other host hotel options available, should you have a preferred hotel brand. Families are welcome to search other hotel options available via this link - KCS June Invitational Host Hotels
The club will be hosting a team lunch on the Saturday.
SHARED COACHING COSTS:
As we begin planning for the KCS Open Invitational meet, we want to ensure all families have advance notice about an important cost consideration. Because this meet requires out-of-town travel, the coaching costs associated with attending the meet will be shared among the families of swimmers who declare to attend. This cost-sharing model is standard practice for voluntary away meets and helps the club cover expenses such as coach travel, accommodation, and per diem.
The estimated cost per swimmer is $40.00. We will, however, provide a more accurate coaching cost once meet information and expected attendance numbers are confirmed. The final costs will be divided equally among attending families based on number swimmers.
Before declaring your swimmer’s attendance, please ensure you are aware of and comfortable with this cost-sharing requirement.
