Guildford Recreation Centre, Surrey, BC
This meet is open to any 13 & Over Divisional time, regardless of age. For this meet, the Head Coach will use unsanctioned times done from the 2020-21 season.
This will be the first LC opportunity, and swimmers may be required to leave school early to attend.
Warmup: 3:00pm
Meet Start: 4:15pm
Meet End: 7:30pm
Cost: 35$ per athlete, 3 events + spash fee.
Registration deadline: October 2, 2021 - 11:59pm. Absolutely no late entries will be accepted. Swimmers entering the meet and scratching after the scratch deadline regardless of reason will still be charged.
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
● Facility access is limited to coaches, swimmers and officials only.
● No spectators will be allowed in the facility.
● Anyone entering the facility is required to wear a mask at all times when not in the water, including on deck. This includes swimmers, coaches and officials.
● Swimmers will be seated in the upper viewing area with the side door available to access the pool deck.
○ This setup may change closer to the event once numbers are finalized.
● Each club must provide 1 chaperone to supervise the swimmer’s space for every 20 swimmers entered in the session to ensure protocols are followed. Clubs are required to organize these volunteers on their own.
● Parent chaperones or volunteers working with a swimmer who needs assistance, will require accreditation. This will be given out to coaches when they check in to the clerk of course.
● All participants (including coaches) must complete an online Health and Wellness Survey a minimum of one-hour prior to entering the pool premises. Please copy and paste the provided link into your browser and complete the survey. https://bc.thrive.health **If you are feeling unwell, please do not come to the pool.
● Hand sanitizer will be available for use throughout the facility.
● No proof of vaccination is required for swimmers, coaches, officials, and volunteers at this time
● These protocols are subject to change and updates will be provided as required.
