Timer Clinic

Let's begin your journey as a swimming parent/official...

Are you new to the club or haven't yet taken the timer's clinic? Interested in learning about timing at swim meets and how to earn volunteer participation points? Then this clinic is for you!

At a swim meet, timers are responsible for helping capture accurate times for swimmers. This clinic introduces the basics of a swim meet, safety at swim meets, and the role of the timer.

After completing this clinic, you'll be eligible to volunteer as a timer at our Nov, Mar, and May swim meets.

The clinic starts at 5:30pm on Tuesday, May 26, taking approx 1.25 hours, and will be held in the Lobby Meeting Room at Sungod Recreation Centre. Please arrive five minutes early and have the linked information (view on your phone or print it in advance.)
