Timer's Clinic

Are you new to the club or haven't yet taken the timer's clinic? Interested in learning about timing at swim meets and how to earn volunteer participation points? Then this clinic is for you!

At a swim meet, timers are responsible for helping capture accurate times for swimmers. This clinic introduces the basics of a swim meet, safety at swim meets, and the role of the timer.

After completing this clinic, you'll be eligible to volunteer as a timer at our March 12-13 and May 28 swim meets.

The clinic starts at 5:30pm, will take about 1.25 hours, and will be held in the Arena Meeting Room at Sungod Recreation Centre (enter through the ice rink sliding doors.) Please arrive five minutes early and have the linked information (view on your phone or print it in advance.)

Note that this clinic is only for people who have not yet taken the timer's clinic and is intended for the parents/family members (13+ years old) of DSSC swimmers.
